Local Area Information

Villa Danae 3 is situated in the area of Navarone Bay with its turquoise waters and scenic cliffs which you may recognise from the film "The Guns of Navarone".

The resorts of Lindos and Pefkos are situated either side of the villa a short drive or around a 20 minute walk away.

Lindos

Approximately 1.5km north of Villa Danae 3 is the medieval town of Lindos with its small car free cobbled streets lined with white washed buildings all overlooked by the famous Acropolis. Lindos has a number of beautiful beaches with clear shallow water surrounding the bay where you’ll find yachts of the rich and famous moored. There are a wide range of shops selling everything from designer brands to souvenirs, restaurants serving all types of food from Greek specialities to Mediterranean cuisine and a vast array of bars which all come alive at night.  

The beaches boast water sports, pedalo, canoe and speed boat hire offering fun for all of the family.

Pefkos

Just over 1km south of Villa Danae 3 is the beautiful resort of Pefkos. With its small and friendly atmosphere you will find everyone is very genuine. There are numerous restaurants all serving delicious food of various types and a number of bars to enjoy a relaxing drink or two. The beaches are golden sand with plenty of sunbeds for you to relax and top up your tan.

There are also lovely beaches at St.Pauls Bay Lindos, Agathi, Tsambika and Haraki which are all within a 20 minute drive from the villa and all well worth a visit.
